BFT Wiper Tournament Celebration
Banquet
A potluck
banquet is being held after the tournament and judging has been
completed. Our awards and prizes will be handed out and food;
burgers, brats, and dogs, will be served at no cost. BigFishTackle.Com
will supply the meat, buns and condiments, paper plates
and utensils for this outing. You will need to supply your own
beverages.
We will not be
serving fish this year. We know that the fish fry was a great
success with many people enjoying the fresh fried fish but
logistically speaking, the time it would take to clean, prepare,
and cook enough fish for the anticipated group size is almost
impossible. Besides, if it is one of those days on Willard when
you can buy a bite or catch a fish, We would all go hungry. It was
decide to go with a sure thing and serve burgers, brats, and dogs.
As part of our
celebration, we are going to have a contest for the best salad,
side dish, and desert. Anyone wishing to become involved with this
is welcome and prizes will be awarded to the best salad, side
dish, and desert.
As with last
year, there also will be a raffle for everyone associated with the
tournament. You must be a BFT registered member or an immediate
family member of a register BFT member that is present to
participate in the raffle. Name slips will be handed out at the
pavilion if you wish to be a part of the raffle. You must be
present to win.
All are welcome
to attend and take part. The banquet will be held at the XXX
pavilion starting at 3:30 pm. Please sign up for the banquet if
you and your family will be attending. Also, let us know if you
plan to enter the potluck contest and what you plan on bringing.
If you’d like to bring something for the banquet and don’t care,
we can give you suggestions based on what we anticipate will be
brought.
Any grill
meisters wishing to help in the cooking and preparation of the
food would be appreciated! We also will need some grills to cook
the food. If you have a portable grill, like a camp chef, and
would like to help out, let us know. Please go to the volunteer’s
post at the Utah BFT Fishing Message Boards (link will be posted
soon). |
